Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME generic top-level extension is the sole TLD intended for personal sites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other titles people are known by. At the beginning, just 3rd-level registrations were permitted, so if you planned to obtain john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already purchased third-level domains remained operational.

You will have the chance to switch the WHOIS info, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our company if you get its EPP transfer key from the present registration provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been done.
